It has been a while. So I figured I would update my blog with a new post. In this post I want to elaborate on how to port the cases, on what you should pay attention to and how you can easily port your own cases.

New Stage6 cylinder kits: MKII
Here is some nice news! Stage6 has announced their new cylinder kits. According to their Facebook page:
Stage6 have completely revised the 70cc Stage6 Racing and Stage6 SportPro cylinders. Already this summer, we will release the new series S6R Mark II and S6S Mark II for Minarelli and Piaggio, and the version for Peugeot horizontal LC will follow at the end of the year. Once more we have been able to improve cylinder performance quite a bit, as you can see in the diagrams. And there is more good news for you: thanks to the optimising of production costs, we can even offer the cylinders at a better price.

Meinerzhagen, Germany: International DSSC Sprint. Update: Movieclips and pictures!
Tomorrow (Saturday) morning (early) I will leave for Germany with some other guys (including my friend with this machine) to attend the international DSSC sprint. I will not enter the competition, but I will shoot some nice movie clips (got a new HD camcorder!) and make pictures of all the shiny metal, extreme builds and good atmosphere that will be there!
Update: I am back from Germany and got a lot of movieclips and photo's to show and some very good news! But for that you will have to read on.

World fastest sprinter?
Today I visited my friend who enters in the Dutch drag racing championship and who is one of the top 3 competitors. For this season (2011) he has build his engine from scratch and today it was testing time.

Another build: Stage 6 Racing. Update: Movieclip
UPDATE: See end of this page.
Just wanted to show a couple of pictures of a Stage 6 Racing engine I tuned this weekend.
I had to buy an case for this customer, since his old wasn't usable anymore (stator came loose, destroying the threads for the screws. I was bought used, but in "good shape". Yes it is dirty, but it was used on a daily driver, which was completely stock. IMO this is what you want if you buy a second hand case. It is then all yours to tamper with.
